Current Topic: The Yelm Legacy Property Rescue & Resource Project.
Learn more about this emerging project whose GOAL: Keep Yelm (and neighbors) property in the hands of the people.
NOTE: WHO ARE WE? Susie has been a food and farming grassroots activist for over 30 years because 30 years ago she decided she didn't want corporations making her food choices, therefore she needed to learn how to grow her own food. She didn't even know about GMO's yet or how to farm, nor any concept of really how intentionally negatively manipulated our food supply was. Now she knows, and now others know too. It has been a lone journey, but no longer, and why she is so eager to build community, our Yelm community.
WHAT IS THIS GRASSROOTS ORGANIZATION?
We are decentralized, local, casual, not fancy, can be spontaneous, often over-committed and under-organized but always open for community support of all types, accept donations of any size from funds to skills to a resource...a self and community-supported organization that supports the community. Susie encourages inspired community action to make the world a better place, as living a truly inspired life focused on solutions not problems is a lot more fun, interesting and rewarding in her experience. Besides it might actually make a difference, plus a great place to train and develop ourselves.
Hope to see you on the 19th!
Susie
